Worship and Praise
God is emotional about you. Worship and Prayer helps you to understand how much he loves you. When you get in the presence of the Lord, through Worship and Praise, confidence will come to you in prayer and your relationship with God. It is good to enter the Lord's presence With Thanksgiving To Pray.
Psalm 95:2– Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.
Psalm 100:4 – Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise; be thankful unto Him and bless His name.
John 4:21-24 – True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him – (4352 – Pro skuneo – To kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand/to fawn or crouch, prostrate oneself in homage, do reverence to, adore).
Psalm 112:1-7– Blessed is the man who fears the Lord.
Psalm 111:10– The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; 3374 – yirah (fear) means reverence.
Psalm 37:4 – Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. The Lord wants to delight in you and you in Him for the sake of relationship and romance, not to get something.
Psalm 11:7 – Praise the Lord! (1984 – halal – foolish, to rave, to celebrate, make a show, boast). I will Praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright and in the congregation. (3034 – yadah – hold out the hand to revere or worship, confess, praise, thank).
Giving Thanks To God
Daniel 6:10 – Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
Jesus Gave Thanks
Matthew 11:25 – At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth. That you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes."
John 11:41 – Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard me."
John 11:42 – And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me."
