According to "The Master Mason", Masonic literature given to its newer members, "This booklet …will provide a starting point from which you will go on and on in a search for Masonic light." Freemasonry's value to you "will be in direct proportion to your understanding of its secrets.… Your own endeavors will depend entirely on your devotion to Freemasonry's great mission of bringing to mankind a full comprehension of the Brotherhood of all men under the Father of one ever living God." The Indiana Masonic Monitor says about Freemasonry, "It is religious in that it teaches monotheism…yet it is not sectarian or theological"….The "ancient and approved rule of Freemasonry forbids the discussion in Masonic meetings of creeds, politics, or other topics likely to excite personal animosities." Note that the idea of Freemasonry's mission to bring the comprehension of the Brotherhood of all men under the Fatherhood of God is teaching the false of doctrine of Universalism. The Bible clearly states that all of mankind is fallen and separated from God because of sin. Only those who repent and place their faith in Jesus Christ become children of God and part of God's family. Therefore, all of mankind is not under the Fatherhood of God. For example, Jesus revealed to a group of Pharisees that they were not children of God but rather, "You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do" (John 8:44 KJV). Freemasonry also forbids the discussion of doctrine or creeds in the Masonic meetings. The Bible, on the other hand, warns us that "whoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son" (2 John 9 KJV). Sound doctrine is critical because it discerns between true and false teachings on issues such as the nature of God, man, sin, salvation, etc. Yet Freemasonry conveniently tells its members to throw doctrine and creeds out the window in their search for the so-called Masonic light.

Ecumenical Deception

Albert Pike, Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite confirmed the religious nature of Freemasonry: "Every lodge is a temple of religion, and its teaching instruction in religion." This being the case, what religion does Freemasonry promote and what God does it worship? Albert Pike reveals to us in his work "Morals and Dogma" that "Masonry, like…all the Mysteries, Hermeticism, and Alchemy, conceals its secrets from all except the Adepts and Sages, or the Elect, and uses false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to mislead those who deserve to be mislead…." In other words, Freemasonry uses secrets and deception to mislead the unenlightened, which is occultic by very nature. Revelation 21:8 states, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death" (KJV). Freemasonry is also rooted in the paganism of the mystery religions which are Luciferian and in direct opposition to Jesus Christ. Thirty-three degree Mason, Manly Hall revealed the ecumenical and anti-Biblical position of Freemasonry by stating, "To the altar of Freemasonry all men bring their most votive offerings. Around it all men, whether they have received their teachings from Confucius, Zoroaster, Moses, Mohammed, or the founder of the Christian Religion, just as long as they believe in the universality of the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of men…meet upon a common the light level." Again Manly states clearly states, "The true disciple of ancient Masonry has given up forever the worship of personalities…. As a Mason his religion must be universal; Christ, Buddha, or Mohammed, the names mean little, for he recognizes only the Light and not the bearer [person]…." This is clearly a blasphemous statement and a denial of the uniqueness of our Lord and Savior. Jesus declared, "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12). John 1:4 states, "In Him (Christ) was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not" (KJV). Clearly, Freemasonry is seated in the darkness of the secret esoteric mystery religions as it does not recognize the person of Christ as being the light of the world. As Albert Pike clarified, "Masonry is the successor to the Mysteries."

Luciferian Light

What is the Masonic light that Freemasonry gradually initiates its members toward? Thirty-three degree Mason Manly Hall reveals, "When the Mason learns the key to the Warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the Mystery of the Craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply this energy." The light that Freemasonry quests for is Lucifer, or Satan, the prince of darkness and adversary of God. Theosophical occultist, Helena Blavatsky wrote in "The Secret Doctrine", "Lucifer represents Life, Thought, Progress, Civilization, Liberty Independence, Lucifer is the Logos the Serpent, the Savior." "It is Satan who is God of our planet and the only God."

In "The Builders: A story and study of Freemasonry" published by Macoy Publishing and Masonic Supply Co., it praises 33 degree Mason Arthur Edward Waite as "Perhaps the greatest student in this field of esoteric teaching and method…." It further states "Beginning as far back as 1886, Waite issued his study of the Mysteries of Magic, a digest of the writings of Eliphas Levi, to whom Albert Pike was more indebted than he let us know." Eliphas Levi wrote in the "Mysteries of Magic", "What is more absurd and more impious than to attribute the name of Lucifer to the devil, that is, to personify evil. The intellectual Lucifer is the spirit of intelligence and love; it is the paraclete, it is the Holy Spirit, while the physical Lucifer is the great agent of universal magnetism." What a perversion of the truth and outright blasphemy to equate Lucifer with the Holy Spirit! Arthur Waite's "The Book of Black Magic" goes so far as to give some guidelines to actually summon Lucifer. Again in Mysteries of Magic, "The light we perceive is a part only of the infinite light, the few solar rays which correspond with our visual apparatus. The sun itself is a lamp adjusted to our dim sight; it is a luminous point in that space which would be darkness to the eyes of our body, but is resplendent for the intuition of our souls." "The word magnetism expresses the action and not the nature of the great universal agent which serves as mediator between thought and life. This agent is the infinite light, or, seeing that the light is itself only phenomenal, it is rather the light-bearer, the great Lucifer of nature, the mediator between matter and spirit, the first creature of God, but termed the devil by imposters and the ignorant." So according to Freemasonry, the teachings of Holy Scripture which declare that Lucifer is Satan is acting as an imposter, and the Christians who believe this are simply ignorant. Yes, Satan truly has perverted the truth and is the Father of lies as Jesus proclaimed. It then goes on to define Lucifer as part of God's Being: "To personify evil and exalt it into an intelligence which is the rival of God, into a being which can understand but love no more-this is a monstrous fiction. To believe that God permits this evil intelligence to deceive and destroy His feeble creatures is to make God more wicked than the devil. By depriving the devil the possibility of love and repentance, God forces him to do evil. Moreover a spirit of error and falsehood can only be a folly which thinks, nor does it deserve indeed the name of spirit. The devil is God's antithesis, and if we define God as He who is we must define His opposite as he who is not."

In an address given by 33 degree Mason Albert Pike to the 23rd Supreme Councils of the World, Pike writes, "That which we must say to the crowd is- We worship a God, but it is the God that one adores without superstition. To you, Sovereign Grand Inspectors General, we say this, that you may repeat it to the Brethren of the 32nd, 31st, and 30th degrees- The Masonic Religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferian Doctrine. If Lucifer were not God, would Adonay whose deeds prove his cruelty, perdify and hatred of man, barbarism and repulsion for science, would Adonay and his priests, calumniate him? Yes, Lucifer is God, and unfortunately Adonay is also god. For the eternal law is that there is no light without shade, no beauty without ugliness, no white without black, for the absolute can only exist as two gods: darkness being necessary to the statue, and the brake to the locomotive. Thus, the doctrine of Satanism is heresy; and the true and pure philosophical religion is the belief in Lucifer, the equal of Adonay; but Lucifer, God of Light and God of Good, is struggling for humanity against Adonay, the God of Darkness and Evil."

What a repugnant perversion of the truth! According to Pike, the Masonic Religion elevates Lucifer to the divinity of God, being very equal with Adonay. And then turns the tables around and declares that Lucifer is the God of Light and Good, and is struggling against Adonay, the God of Darkness and Evil. As the prophet Isaiah proclaimed, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isa. 5:20 KJV). In Morals and Dogmas, Pike calls, "Lucifer, the light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the son of the morning! It is he who bears the light, and with it's splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual or selfish souls? Doubt it not!"

Alice Bailey, a leading spokesperson of the occultic Theosophical Society and member of Co-Masonry confirmed the occultic and Luciferian nature of Freemasonry.

"The Masonic Movement is the custodian of the Law, the holder of the Mysteries, and the seat of initiation…a far more occult organization than can be realized…intended to be the training school for coming advanced occultists." She then concludes with a reference to its agenda and what scripture reveals as the antichrist: "There is no question therefore that the work to be done in familiarizing the general public with the nature of the Mysteries is of paramount importance at this time. These mysteries will be restored to outer expression through the medium of the Church [false church] and the Masonic Fraternity…When the Great One [Antichrist] comes with his disciples and initiates we shall have the restoration of the Mysteries and their exoteric presentation as a consequence of the first initiation." So Freemasonry is the training school for coming advanced occultists who will play their part in the establishment of the New World Order of the antichrist. The Bible warns against the deception of this occultic man of sin that will come onto the world scene and falsely claim to be God. "Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God" (2 Thess. 2:3,4 KJV). "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause, God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" (2 Thess. 2:9-12 KJV).

How should any born again Christian involved in this Luciferian cult known as Freemasonry respond? He should repent, publicy renounce the lodge as evil, and get out. As the apostle Paul wrote Timothy, "But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness" (1 Tim 6:11 KJV).

And as Paul wrote to the Corinthians, "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said , I will dwell in them, and walk with them; and I will be their God, and they shall my people" (2 Cor. 6:14-16 KJV). Jesus said, "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven" (Matt. 10;32,33 KJV).

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 KJV).
