We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired, inerrant Word of God and are the supreme authority for all matters of Christian belief and practice.
We believe in one God in three persons…
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
God is one in essence or being, yet three in persons.
We believe that Jesus Christ is eternally God who came from Heaven to Earth and became flesh and dwelt among us.
We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, the virgin Mary.
We believe that Jesus live a perfect, sinless life, thereby fulfilling the requirements of God's Holy Law.
We believe that Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for the remission of our sins.
We believe that after He died on the cross, He rose bodily from the dead on the third day and after appearing to many people that are reliable witnesses, He ascended back into heaven at the right hand of the Father.
We believe that Jesus will return to earth again in Glory.
We believe that the requirement for salvation from hell and to enter heaven is for man to "Repent and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15) For by grace you have been saved through faith: and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). A person must cease from trusting in any of his own works and must place all of his trust in what Christ has already done for Him- His sacrificial atonement on the cross for the complete payment for all sins and His bodily resurrection from the dead.
We believe in the sovereignty of God, and that God has given to man free will in that he might choose to accept or reject the gospel message.
We believe that those who are truly born again are eternally secure as they are kept by God for Jesus Christ the Bridegroom
(Phillipians 1:6; John 10:28-29; Romans 8:35-39).
Luke 4:18-19
(Jesus speaking) "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of site to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord".
