John 1:1 & 14     "In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God and the Word was God.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.

Colossians 2:9.10     "For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."

John 10:30     "I and my Father are one"  (in the Greek that means one and the same).

OLD TESTAMENT VERSES SHOWING THAT THE MESSIAH TO COME IS GOD:

Isaiah 9:6     "For unto us a child (Jesus) is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Micah 5:2     "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth have been from of of old, from everlasting."

Zechariah 12:10     "And I will pour out upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and supplications: and they shall look on me whom they have pierced (God speaking), and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn."

Psalm 110:1,2     "The Lord said unto my Lord: 'Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.'"

Acts 5:3,4     "But Peter said, "Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost.... thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God."

II Corinthians 3:17     "Now the Lord is that Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."

VERSES SHOWING THE TRINITY:

Genesis 1:26     "And God said, 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness."(Father, Son and Holy Spirit)

Genesis 3:22    "And the Lord God said, 'Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil.'"

Matthew 28:18-20     "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, 'All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. *Notice that Jesus placed His name on the same level as God the Father

1 John 5:7,8    "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

VERSES SHOWING THAT JESUS WAS WORSHIPPED:

Matthew 28:16,17     "Then the eleven disciples ... when they saw him (Jesus), they WORSHIPPED Him."

Matthew 2:11     "They fell down, and WORSHIPED Him (Jesus)."

Matthew 14:33     "Then they that were in the ship came and WORSHIPPED Him (Jesus) saying, Of truth thou art the Son of God."

John 9; 38     "And he said, 'Lord, I believe', and he WORSHIPPED Him (Jesus)."

Hebrews 1:6     "And let all the angels of God WORSHIP Him (Jesus)."

NOW, SCRIPTURE SHOWING THAT ONLY GOD IS TO BE WORSHIPED:

Acts 10:25      "Cornelius ... fell down at his (Peter's) feet, and WORSHIPPED him, but Peter took him up, saying. 'Stand up; I myself also am a man."'

Revelation 22:8, 9     "I (John) fell down to WORSHIP before the feet of the angel...  Then saith he unto me, 'See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow-servant .... WORSHIP God.'"

Exodus 34:14     "For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God."

CONCLUSION:

The Old Testament shows us that the Messiah is God.

Jesus claimed to be the Messiah that the Old Testament referred to, therefore He claimed to be God.

Jesus directly claimed to be God in the New Testament scripture.

The scripture commands that only God is to be worshiped.

Jesus not only accepted worship from His disciples but He also encouraged them to worship Him. Therefore by accepting the disciples worship Jesus acknowledged that He is God.
